Black Study in Education Lab
Our mission is to actively engage in the transformative power of Black study as an emancipatory and capacious force to advance interdisciplinary research, teaching, and study practices in education.
Affirming Blackness, Transforming Knowledge
We use Black study to imagine new, liberating ways of thinking and living. We question and challenge traditional systems of knowledge, practice care in how we work, and focus on Black people’s right to define themselves and their dreams. Through learning, research, and working together, we support bold, Black futures that go beyond the limits of schools and institutions.
